Ignoti Mundi in Latin means unknown worlds. The piece explores character shifts, the relationship between elements that are easy-to-listen versus what might be perceived as strange. Precisely in this meeting, between the easy listening of familiar elements versus what feels new and foreign, is a large part of my vision as a composer is to challenge the listener to discover and appreciate new musical worlds.
